Dr Schmidt is not only on top of the clinical and research-based parts of her practice, but she’s also an exceptionally kind and wonderful human. She walked alongside us through a high-risk twin pregnancy, and now I look forward to seeing her at annual visits. I never feel rushed, and my questions are always answered in a timely and thoughtful way. Additionally, the whole team (including med assistants, lab techs, front desk folks) is fabulous and gets to know you over time. I’ve never felt like just a number. For example: as it was possible that any of the team providers would deliver my twins, the whole team reviewed my case regularly to make sure our delivery care would be seamless. Dr Schmidt and the whole NEWH teams have earned my trust and deep appreciation, and I recommend them every chance I get!

Dr Brown and team were so caring and compassionate. When they realized I had miscarried, they got me into a private room to wait for my meeting with the doctor, had the phlebotomist come to me and also moved my appointment time up. Dr Brown spent so much time with us, answered all our questions and provided next steps. She was calm, thoughtful and patient. Such excellent bedside manner. I could not say enough good things about her and this practice even from just one visit. On the worst day of our lives they were kind, professional and so compassionate. We hope to come back to them soon.

I had a great experience at the New Wakefield Office, it is beautiful. The ladies that checked me in and out were lovely. Then the medical assistant took me into the exam room. She was very professional and sweet. Shortly after the medical assistant left the room Dr. Hinting entered and she was GREAT!! My first and only OBGYN recently retired and I was uneasy to think of starting with a new doc, but Dr. Hinting is AWESOME! I highly recommend Dr. Hinting and the New Wakefield office!!

I don’t think its a personal review for the Dr. or it could be the issue of how medical system is set up, I am not sure. But, its frustrating. When you are pregnant, especially if its your 1st time, you do expect certain guidance and conversations around what to expect. It feels like we always go in and the only conversation we have with the doctor is if we have any question. “Do you have any question for me?”. Feels like the goal is to wrap up the appointment as soon as possible. Ideal expectation is to ask how we are feeling, things to expect, some guidance. If I don’t have a question, then technically the consulation is a waste because there’s nothing to speak about. As a women, who is pregnant for 1st time, you do expect some information from experts without asking. If reports are out, regardless of what of the outcome is, you do expect someone to call. They simply put it on their dashboard. What am I supposed to make out of it? Can someone not call and explain what half these terms are supposed to mean!!!

Dr Grove was amazing during my pregnancy (my first). I loved that I could get my ultrasounds and bloodwork in the same office as the appointments, and ultrasounds were always right before appointments so I didn’t have to wait for results. Dr Grove was a great help navigating the 1,001 decisions you have to make in pregnancy and helping us feel informed. I ended up needing additional monitoring a few times at the hospital and always felt really well cared for by the practice when I was there. A number of doctors from the practice helped me at various times and they were all amazing, particularly Dr Schmidt who ended up delivering our baby. Would 100% recommend to any new or experienced mom.

I got my appointment booked as soon as they got my message. My experience was excellent, everyone in the clinic were friendly and professional. They took care of me and guided me through the needs since was my first visit to my prenatal care. Wonderful experience! The facility was easy to find and there was ample parking. I could check in online or at the front desk. The front desk staff member was very welcoming. The lobby is extremely soothing and comfortable. I was seen quickly. Dr. Meade was very thorough despite my appointment being very short (initial family planning). She demonstrated patience and care when discussing a topic of importance to me.

I have had so many OBGYN’s throughout my years and Dr. Curiale by far surpasses all of them. She takes time to sit down with you, go through all the options, be extremely thorough. I saw Dr. Brown for my pregnancy care for both my children and she delivered my second. I was very happy with the care I received while pregnant and continue to receive as a non-OB patient. My only complaint about the practice is with the office operations. It is very hard to get through on the phone or to get a call back. I have also had a couple of appointments get canceled, which understandably happens. However, I would expect reschedules to be prioritized and timely depending upon the nature of the original appointment.

Not with Dr. Grove but with the staff. I was told and received text messages to go to Woburn for my office visit and ultrasound. Dr. Grove is in Wilmington. I had my ultra in Woburn then had to drive to Wilmington. My urine sample was sent to Winchester Hospital With NO orders! They had to call me! I’m am definitely not impressed with this group and no apology!

I started seeing Dr. Grove since the beginning of my pregnancy and now my son is 1.5 months old. The experience has been great with Dr. Grove and New England Women’s Healthcare, and the C section went well too with Winchester Hospital, actually much better than a previous small surgery with MGH. To be brief, Dr. Grove is very knowledgeable and super patient and supportive. The NEWH is a convenient location with lots of parking, compact office and friendly staffs. Winchester Hospital for delivery has many skillful doctors and nurses that provide care and help you with everything you need for you and your baby. You are in great hands if preparing for breastfeeding! I would definitely recommend Dr. Grove and her affiliated facilities/ team for pregnancy visits/delivery!

When I arrived at the office, I was immediately greeted. I felt safe because everyone was wearing a mask and the waiting room chairs were spaced 6 feet apart. I waited less than 5 minutes before I was called into the exam room. The assistant was friendly and made me feel at ease. Dr. Dixon was very professional and answered all my questions. Dr. Dixon and his office staff are very professional. (Dr. Timothy Johnson former TV Doc) use to say if you ever want a referral to a great surgeon, don’t ask another doctor, ask a Surgical Nurse! As a Surgical Nurse, I not only work with Dr. Dixon I am also a patient. He is #1 in his field of GYN! A very skilled and compassionate surgeon. If you need surgery, he will actually sit with you while you are waiting for your procedure and hold your hand if you want. It’s very comforting in a very stressful situation. This is an awesome practice with wonderful partners. The doctor I see is Dr. Brown and she is amazing: kind, patient, knowledgeable. Last year she was pregnant at the same time as me and one of the other partners picked up my appointments for my 3rd trimester once Dr. Brown had he baby. I ended up seeing the other partners in the practice as well given the high number of checkups: non-stress tests, going over my due date by a bit etc. Dr. Cole was the one who was on duty the day I delivered my son and she was quite wonderful in coaching me through the delivery itself. I now live farther away than when I began seeing Dr. Brown and have chosen to continue seeing her despite the long drive. I just had my annual exam yesterday and I was impressed by the way the office functions during COVID-19: no-touch hand sanitizer; separate wait area for pregnant patients v everyone else; plexiglass screens for the admin staff; mandatory masks; one way in, one way out; efficient but not making you feel rushed (even when you’re late for your appointment like I was). I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for amazing care in the Woburn area.
